The French Tech 120 is a program launched in September 2019 by the President and the Prime Minister to support 120 French startups in hyper-growth.
Being part of this initiative will enable Diabeloop to benefit from a tailor-made support, especially in 5 categories: international development, financing, market access, talent recruitment and relationships with public administration.
Last December, Diabeloop completed a 31-million-euro Series B round of funding, representing a European fundraising record in the area of therapeutic artificial intelligence.
In September 2019, Diabeloop won the EY “Start Up of the Year award” emphasizing its engagement in Type 1 diabetes treatment. In October 2019, with the renewed support of EIT Health, we received the InnovEIT Award for our automated device project for children with Type 1 diabetes, intended to improve their quality of life, while making disease management easier for both families and caregivers. Diabeloop has also been selected for IPME Phase 2 grant by Horizon 2020, a European program for research and innovation.
The French Tech 120 program will allow Diabeloop to accelerate its commercial launch strategy and support international roll-out.
